Max Christensen is theater artist based in Chicago, IL, who strives to elevate and expand the world of the play through his context-driven scenic and props design and dramaturgical work. He interested in work that is rooted in feeling, and storytelling that gives the audience a shared emotional experience. Max is deeply invested in the relationship between the audience and art, and aims to create audience engagement through detail-oriented world building that extends beyond the stage. He is currently a senior at Columbia College Chicago, who is graduating in May 2026 with a BA in Theatrical Design and Technology.
