In spring 2025, Lia Gil and I were the dramaturgs for Columbia College Chicago’s production of Rent.

We worked together to create the packet for the creative team to access to expand their knowledge of the world surrounding the show. We also worked with the ensemble directly to strengthen their connection to the historical context, and put together programming events open to the public related to the themes of the show.
